Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of STL Tree Guide, operated by Nfinier, LLC. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request.

Educational and referral service

STL Tree Guide provides general educational information and may connect consumers with independent third-party providers. Nfinier, LLC is not a tree-service company, arborist, contractor, utility, insurer, engineer, emergency responder, or party to any agreement between a consumer and a provider. Information on the site is not a property-specific diagnosis, professional opinion, quote, or guarantee.

Independent providers

Providers are independent businesses and are solely responsible for their representations, qualifications, licenses, insurance, personnel, estimates, contracts, safety, permits, methods, equipment, work, warranties, billing, and disputes. Inclusion, referral, or contact does not constitute endorsement or a guarantee of availability, pricing, quality, safety, or results. You are responsible for evaluating providers and written proposals before hiring.

Requests and communications

When you submit a request, you authorize Nfinier, LLC and affiliated STL Guide Network sites to review it, route it to a sister site when another category is a better match, contact you about it, and share relevant information with one or more independent providers that may serve your area. Providers may contact you by phone, text, or email regarding the submitted project. Submission does not require you to hire anyone and does not guarantee a response or match.

Compensation

Submitting a request is free for homeowners. Nfinier, LLC may receive compensation from participating providers for introductions, advertising, or resulting opportunities. Compensation does not guarantee placement, endorsement, or project results.

Safety and emergencies

The site and form are not monitored emergency services. Stay away from unstable trees, hanging limbs, downed lines, and electrical hazards. Contact the appropriate utility or emergency service when electrical lines, fire, blocked roads, injuries, or immediate danger are involved.

User responsibilities

Provide accurate information you are authorized to share. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card information, medical data, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Do not misuse the site, submit unlawful or misleading requests, interfere with operation, scrape or resell information, or attempt unauthorized access. You are responsible for confirming property ownership or authority, boundaries, utility locations, permits, and approvals applicable to the proposed work.

Optional marketing

Project-related communications are separate from optional marketing. We send promotional communications only when you separately choose to receive them, and you may opt out using the instructions in the message or by contacting us.

Follow-up and network operations

Nfinier, LLC and current or future STL Guide Network sites may use submitted information to route requests, communicate with you, evaluate provider response, ask whether an estimate, hiring, or completed work occurred, investigate complaints, improve services, and administer referral relationships.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nfinier, LLC and its network sites are not liable for provider acts or omissions, property damage, bodily injury, project outcomes, lost profits, indirect or consequential damages, or reliance on general site information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by Missouri law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date; continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply. Questions may be sent to info@stltreeguide.com.
